I am Tanya Verduyn and I am Secretary General of LMUNA 2009. My MUN experience as a delegate includes MUNs in Holland as well as abroad. The latest MUN conference I attended was TIMUN in Istanbul. This year I had the opportunity to be incorporated in the organisation of LMUNA 2009. The function of Secretary General was appointed to me. My responsibility includes guiding the other members of the organizing committee and resolving problems in times of crisis.

03. Deputy Secretary General

Hi, I am Eef Nibbelink, and I am Deputy Secretary General of LMUNA 2009. Last year, I was Head of Security, but this time I sought for a more challenging function, which made me end up as DSG. I have been to various MUNs myself, last being TIMUN in Istanbul. I hope that I can contribute to making LMUNA 2009 a success, and I look forward to trying my best to do so.

04. Head of Internal Affairs

Hey, my name is Wouter Tijs. During the upcoming LMUNA conference I have the honour of serving as head internal affairs. Although my past MUN experiences are somewhat limited I will do my best to ensure smooth proceedings throughout the conference. I hope you enjoy the conference and if any problems arise, don`t hesitate to ask for help.

05. Head of External Affairs

Hey I`m Sjaan van Dusseldorp and Head of External affairs. My job is to keep up the communication between our organisation committee and the outside world. I love talking so I`m sure I will love my job. I decided to be part of the organising committee of LMUNA 2009 because I enjoy MUNs so much. I think delegates really become aware of world problems and have a chance to interact with each other in a fun way. MUN is also very international so travelling is sometimes also part of the package. Personally I travelled to Istanbul last year and I had an great time. I hope to help create an even better experience with MUN for our future delegates then I had.

06. Head of Finance

Hi! I`m Inge Peters, 16 years old, a TVWO student and I`m the Head of Finance. This year will be my first MUN, but I`m really looking forward to it. Hopefully you have a very nice LMUNA 2009 and I`ll see you in October!

Hello, my name is Amber Roovers and I`m 16 years old. I`m a VWO student here at the Lorentz Lyceum. Last year during the LMUNA I was an Admin and really liked the atmosphere. For this LMUNA I will be the Head of Administration and I hope that it will be a success. I hope to see you here in October.

Hi, I`m Maike Awater and head of Party Press! I will be taking care of the website and will inform you as well as possible. Furthermore, I will be the editor of the LMUNA Times on the conference, which will hopefully be fun to read and will contain all the information you need. I will also arrange the party (which is going to be great of course). I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the conference in October!

Hello all, my name is Robin. I am the deputy of the press team. I`ll be the one to take the committee pictures and will be co-editor of the LMUNA times. Be sure to report the spectacular and hilarious events that will take place in LMUNA weekend, to either Maike or me. Nothing should go unnoticed, any juicy stories that aren`t brought to us, we will get ourselves.

My name is Marloes Bongers, I`m 16 years old and I am VWO student. My function within the LMUNA is head of housing. In this function I will need to take care of the housing of the delegates. I will contact all future host parents. I hope this years MUN will be just as great as last years. And I hope to see you at the LMUNA!

Hello all, my name is Marc van Hunen and I will be head of service at the LMUNA 2009. If you want to know where your workshop is, can`t find your debating area or anything else; you can find my crew and me during the weekend. We will be waiting for you all at the entrance of the school, at the beginning of the LMUNA. I hope that you will have great conference.

Hi, my name is Dorien de Keyzer. I am the head of catering at the LMUNA conference 2009. In this function I will need to take care of everything involving food and drinks. If you need anything, or have any suggestions you can always tell me. 16. Head of Technical Support

Hello, I`m Gautam, 16 years old and living in a small town called Westervoort. I am the Head of Technical Support. I`ve been interested in technologies, audio and computers overall for more than 6 years. This year I will be dealing with the sound, light and other technical equipment. I hope to see you there!

My name is Reena Bakker. I am an American with an Asian-Indian background. I moved to Holland with my dutch husband and two children in 2002. I have a BA in Legal Studies and a MSc in International Development from the University of California. My hobbies include reading and diving.

Thank you for reading this far in the facebook. I`m mister Uijen, 36 years old and a geography teacher at the Lorentz Lyceum. This is my third year as a MUN director. My role in LMUNA is to help the students navigate their way across the wild river of organising an MUN. Also is it my responsibility that all finances are done and make sense after the financial books have closed. Furthermore I feel privileged to work with a group of highly motivated students who`s intention is to make LmunA`09 to a great success.
